³ÉÈ˶¶ÒôÆƽâ°æ once again earns national recognition for being one of the nation’s best universities — only this year in a better spot, according to U.S. News and World Reports
³ÉÈ˶¶ÒôÆƽâ°æ, the area’s only nationally ranked university, climbed to 244th out of 436 national universities. Previously, it was in the 260th position on the 2024 list.
National universities are those that offer a full range of undergraduate majors, in addition to master’s and doctoral programs, and are committed to producing groundbreaking research. Universities are ranked according to their performance across a set of widely accepted indicators of excellence.
Individual ³ÉÈ˶¶ÒôÆƽâ°æ academic programs also earned top rankings.
115th out of 286 in Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs
³ÉÈ˶¶ÒôÆƽâ°æ’s engineering program among the top in the nation for institutions that have ABET-accredited programs and whose highest engineering degree offered is a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
232nd out of 433 in Top Performers on Social Mobility
U.S. News defines this category as focusing on institutions who are successful at advancing social mobility by enrolling and graduating large proportions of economically disadvantaged students who are awarded with Pell Grants and are considered less likely than others to finish college.
566th out of 686 in Best Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Programs
³ÉÈ˶¶ÒôÆƽâ°æ’s nursing program was deemed a top program by U.S. News and was ranked among institutions that have bachelor’s-level accreditation by either the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing and have recently awarded at least 50 BSN degrees.
