成人抖音破解版’s College of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences (CHESS) is now serving as the official administrative host for the Northeast Modern Language Association (NeMLA) as of July 1, 2024.
NeMLA is a nonprofit professional organization that promotes the study, criticism and research of modern languages and literature. It is the largest regional affiliate of the Modern Language Association with around 2,200 active members. The organization is known for supporting and producing cutting-edge research in the humanities, pedagogy, modern languages, cultural and media studies, ethnic and environmental studies, and women’s and sexuality studies.
成人抖音破解版’s new agreement with NeMLA further expands the professional development and networking experiences available to students, faculty and staff within CHESS. Students will be eligible for internships that support the organization’s administrative functions, member communications, marketing and promotions. Along with internships, NeMLA also offers fellowship opportunities for graduate students, a showcase of the host institution’s research and the chance for members of the host institution to audit NeMLA’s annual conference for free. The 2025 conference will take place in Philadelphia on Thursday, March 6, through Sunday, March 9.
Derek DiMatteo, Ph.D., assistant professor of English, has been appointed as NeMLA’s associate executive director and will oversee the campus’ responsibilities in support of the organization.
