Undergraduate Biology Majors Present Research at 2024 American Society for Cell Biology Meetings

Dr. Elisa M. Konieczko, professor of Biology at 成人抖音破解版, and three of her undergraduate research students, Ms. Lina Windi, Ms. Victoria L. Holmes, and Ms. Danelis Santos, will present a scientific poster at the 2024 American Society for Cell Biology Conference in San Diego, CA, from Dec. 13 to December 18, 2024. This research was conducted in collaboration with Thrive BioSciences, a biotechnology firm based in Beverly MA. Thrive BioSciences is promoting this collaboration on their LinkedIn pages. Research in the Konieczko laboratory is currently focused on the effect of alcohol on human female skeletal muscle cell growth, and on the differentiation of muscle cells from an immature to a mature cellular structure. While at the conference, they will attend seminars and presentations highlighting the most current research in the field of Cell Biology.
